There is another expansion to the series of Final Fantasy, Final XI. The name of this second expansion is called Final Fantasy XI: Chains of Promothia and was released in Japan on September 16, 2004. Soon after the first and second expansions were made available in Europe sold together, and then released to North America. In addition, these two expansions were brought to the U.S. as a single DVD-ROM.

Not to long ago a third expansion was also released of the Final Fantasy. Final XI of the Fantasy series soon birthed Treasures of Aht Urhgan, and this release came into existence on April 18, 2006.
