FFXI Player

If you want to be a successful FFXI player there are quite a few things you should know. First you have to decide which you want to be and how to become that character. You also have to decide what side you are on and know who exactly is on your side and who is not.

At the start of the game, each FFXI player chooses whether to side with Bastok, San d¡¯Oria or Windurst. When you decide to select the home nation for the particular race that you belong to you get a specific ring. The object of the race that you choose is to help that race by claiming as much of Vana¡¯diel as possible. You have to this without preventing large scale warfare by substituting this competition for battles.

There are a total of 5 original races and 2 additional ancient races that you can be a part of and a large amount of opposing races called Beastmen. Some of these races are more humanlike while others are more antlike, fishlike, turtle-like, or resembling another animal. Others of these races resemble those of monsters and demons. Each race has its own specific powers and capabilities that you tap into during game play.

Something else that every FFXI player should know before play is that not every FFXI plot is immediately unlocked. For example, the Zilart and Dynamis storylines are opened when the player reaches Rank 6. You also need to know that each plot takes place in different cities within these storylines, and in other Final Fantasy storylines. In some of the plots FFXI players do not just advance by completing traditional missions.

Instead, some FFXI plots require that one or more than one FFXI player conquer certain zones. This is true in the Dynamis plot for instance. The Dynamis zones are one place where up to 64 people can set up their own rules for loot gathering and monster claiming. This can be done in one of two Dynamis storylines. There are two different completely separate Dynamis storylines.

Each CCXGAMES.COM player has the choice of which storylines they want to be a part of. If you are a FFXI player and need help finding your way in the FFXI world please feel free to e-mail one of us as soon as possible. You can also talk to us by way of live chat as well. Happy Gaming!
