Play Dungeon and Dragon Online To begin playing Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach you will need a copy of the game and a computer which meets the minimum requirements to run it. Once you have installed it and created an account (see the game manual for details on how to do this) you will have to create a character. I have already dealt with character creation in a previous article, so lets move on to the next step. Now you have a new character and you¡¯re ready to begin exploring the great world of D&D Online. But you¡¯re not ready to go off slaying dragons just yet, not by a long shot. First you¡¯ll have to gain a few levels. Gold (platinum) is not really that important at these first few levels, but experience is. Experience in D&D Online is gained through fighting monsters and doing quests. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Questing enables you to meet new people, learn to function in a group, make friends and generally have a lot of fun, but the experience is not all that high. Killing monsters repetitively (known as ¡®grinding¡¯), on the other hand, is extremely boring and lonely, but experience is gained much faster. The decision, as always, is left up to the player. Most first time players like to level their first character slowly and through questing, to give themselves more opportunities to meet new people. Most secondary characters are levelled through grinding as it is much faster. Perhaps you have already levelled one, or maybe even a few characters, already. Or perhaps you have friends who have been playing longer than you, and you want to catch up. Whatever the reason CCXGames.com has the tools to get you on track. We offer various services for D&D Online which can be found at www.ccxgames.com. Check us out, you¡¯ll be glad you did.
