DDO Review Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach is a new MMORPG from Turbine Entertainment and Atari. It is based on the original D&D board game; the game that practically started the role playing genre single-handedly. So when it was first announced that D&D Online was being developed, everyone had high expectations. Now that it has been released we can safely say that it holds true to its original principles. In D&D Online, as in the board game, you create a character from one of various races and classes. We see the return of some old classics, like the human wizard and elf cleric, along with relatively new favourites such as the terrifying warforged. Players adventure through the world, gaining experience, items and, hopefully, a few friends along the way. This is the greatest part about moving D&D from the board to the computer. Now you can meet and play with thousands of people from across the world. And the world of D&D has lost none of its life and vibrancy in the transition to the computer. In a fully interactive environment the world of D&D can be experienced in way that has never before been possible. As you adventure, seeing the world of Eberron through the eyes of our character, you’ll encounter thousands of monsters, NPCs and other players, all of which will shape your character, and the way you play. We here at CCXGames.com offer assistance for both experienced players and those new to the Dungeons and Dragons universe. Visit www.ccxgames.com for more information.
